Recommendations for working safely on the platform

This translation is provided for convenience only. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version of this document prevails.

Key recommendations

Verify authenticity

Make sure you are using the official IT Tender website. Do not follow suspicious links that claim to lead to the platform.

Beware of unrealistic offers

If the cost of an IT solution is suspiciously low or the timelines are unrealistically short, that is a reason for additional verification.

Protect your data

Never share your account password, bank card details, or the organization’s tax ID with outside parties.

Check the participating company

Before choosing a contractor, review the company’s profile, portfolio, reviews, and verification status on the Platform.

Communicate only within the platform

Conduct negotiations through the built-in chat. This creates a documented trail and protects both parties.

Record agreements

Agree on cost, timelines, and conditions in writing before work begins.

Common fraud schemes

Fake tenders

An organizer posts a tender with no real intention of choosing a contractor — only to collect competitors’ commercial proposals and technical solutions.

Pay attention to the completeness of the technical specification and the organizer’s activity history on the platform.

Prepayment to participate

Fraudsters posing as organizers demand a “participation fee”, “deposit”, or “insurance deposit” to submit an application.

Participation in tenders on IT Tender is free. The Platform never requests prepayment.

Fake notifications

You may receive an email or SMS claiming you won a tender and asking you to pay for “legal processing” or to follow a link.

All application-status notifications are published exclusively in the platform dashboard.

Harvesting commercial proposals

Dishonest organizers request detailed proposals from IT companies and pass them to their current contractor to drive down its price.

Avoid disclosing critical technical details before signing a confidentiality agreement.

How to report a violation

If you encounter a suspicious tender, a fake company, or a fraudulent scheme, report it via the “Report” button on the page of the relevant tender or organization profile.

The platform team reviews every complaint within 48 hours and takes action up to and including blocking the violator’s account.
